NGCB urges funding recipients to submit acquittal reports

The National Gaming Control Board is urging all funding recipients to submit their acquittal reports as soon as possible. Acquittal reports are a necessary requirement for all funding recipients received funding as individual or organization  from the NGCB  to ensure accountability and transparency in the use of funds.

NGCB CEO Imelda Agon said acquittal reports provide a detailed account of how the funds were used, including any expenses incurred, and the outcomes achieved.

She said this information is crucial in ensuring that the funds are being used for their intended purpose and the funding recipients are meeting their obligations under the Acquittal Agreement.

“ NGCB has provided funding to different sectors across the country, including community groups, non- profit organizations and charities.

“The Board is committed to supporting these groups in their important work, and the submission of acquittal reports is a key part of this support.

“ We understand that funding recipients are busy and may have competing demands on their time and resources ,however, submitting acquittal reports is a crucial part of our funding process, and we urge all our funding recipients to prioritize this,” Ms. Agon said.

Failure to submit an acquittal report may result in delays in future funding requests, inability to access future funding from the NGCB or even referral to appropriate institutions to investigate and prosecute within their powers.

Furthermore, this may result in you or your organization  being blacklisted and referred to the appropriate government institutions to be investigated and charged.
